Welcome to our information page. Here you'll find all the up-to-date information you'll need to help make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible including things to entertain children of all ages - and many things for the grown ups too! We'll also keep you up to date on the latest information regarding our fabulous and popular swimming pool as well as facilities for people with limited mobility, visual or hearing impairment.
Please see our Eating Out list
Enjoy our superb, spacious, heated indoor swimming pool. The fully tiled pool measures 12.5m in length and is 6.5m wide; it is 1m deep at the shallow end and 1.4m at the deep end.
The pool has full climate control, the pool hall is normally heated to 32 degrees and the water temperature is a constant 31 degrees. A modern filtration system is used, this is highly effective yet uses very low levels of chlorine and it ensures that the pool is very clean at all times. Showers and changing rooms are available for all guests.
The pool has been designed for unsupervised use - guests swim at their own risk (and must sign a disclaimer) and we ask each guest to carefully read the information provided about how to use the pool and sauna. The pool has been built to the highest specifications for your enjoyment.
Cottage guests will be able to book (on a daily rota basis) a 75 minute slot in the pool, each day of your stay. Only guests in your party will be in the pool at this time and we will ensure a safe period to clean and disinfect before the next users. Chlorinated pool water kills the virus. Detailed user information will be provided before and during your stay. Glamping guests (Yurts and Shepherds Hut) will be able to use a swim (maximum 6 persons) in the evening. The sauna is also now usable and we can provide guidance and tokens on request.
Small numbers in the pool ensure that it is always in pristine condition.
See our glowing guest reviews.
